Security is not just an IT concern - it’s a shared responsibility across all teams and stakeholders.

To achieve this, we are looking for an Information Security Coordinator - someone who can both plan and execute Wyre’s security ambition. This is not a role with a ready-made playbook: you will set up Wyre’s security program from the ground up, create structure, and embed security into the way we manage and protect our infrastructure.

Your role as Information Security Coordinator

As an individual contributor in Wyre, you collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners. You will lead by expertise and coordination You translate security principles into practical requirements and initiatives that fit Wyre’s environment and ambitions.

As our Information Security Coordinator, you will:

• Design and roll out Wyre’s information security program, aligned with business priorities and regulatory requirements.
• Establish information security frameworks, policies and guidelines, ensuring consistency with industry best practices.
• Coordinate with product, technology, and business teams to identify, assess, and mitigate risks.
• Translate complex information security and risk insights into clear, actionable requirements for different stakeholders.
• Manage and monitor the information security posture of suppliers and third parties, ensuring they meet Wyre’s requirements and contractual obligations.
• Build strong relationships with external partners and vendors to align on security expectations and follow up on improvements where needed.
• Organize and follow up on regular information security assessments, audits, and improvement initiatives.
• Stay on top of emerging threats, trends, and technologies, and translate them into Wyre’s context.
• Report on information security risk posture, key initiatives, and improvement opportunities to management.

Who you are

• You have at least 5 years of experience in information security, risk management, or related roles.
• You are hands-on and comfortable diving into Wyre’s environment to understand technical and business specifics.
• You are a strong coordinator who can bring people together, even without formal authority.
• You have experience in developing and implementing security frameworks and policies.
• You know industry standards and best practices (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, …).
• You can explain complex security topics in a clear way, to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Certifications such as CISSP or CISM are a strong plus.
• You communicate fluently in English; Dutch and/or French are a plus.
