We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Application Development Audit & Compliance Analyst to support governance, risk management, and compliance activities across application development and technology operations. This position is responsible for helping ensure that software development processes, systems, and controls comply with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

The ideal candidate will work closely with application development teams, security operations, infrastructure staff, project managers, and audit stakeholders to assess risks, monitor compliance, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with audits and conduct compliance assessments of application development processes, systems, and controls.
  • Evaluate adherence to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with application development teams to identify control gaps and recommend corrective actions.
  • Monitor compliance with internal policies, governance standards, and external regulations.
  • Review change management, access control, release management, and deployment processes.
  • Assist with risk assessments and remediation tracking for technology and application initiatives.
  • Support internal and external audit activities, including evidence collection and documentation.
  • Develop and maintain compliance reports, dashboards, and audit documentation.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of audit findings and compliance issues.
  • Promote best practices related to application security, data protection, governance, and compliance.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • One year of professional experience in information technology with a focus on security, or audit management.

SPECIAL NOTES:

  • This position is located in Tallahassee, FL.
  • The tentative starting salary for this position is $50,000.04 annually.

SALARY: $47,500.08 - $52,500.00 / annually
