Works under minimum supervision to provide administrative and operational guidance and direction for department(s) across the organization.

This is a temporary assignment with an initial 1 year assignment length- there is an opportunity to transition to a permanent role based on performance. This role is hybrid, with two days in office expected.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

JOB DUTIES

  • The Demand Coordinator within the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) Office is responsible for managing and facilitating the intake, assessment, and prioritization of new information systems acquisition demands across the institution.
  • This role serves as a critical link between business stakeholders, Information Resources, and the PPM function, ensuring that all incoming requests are accurately captured, evaluated, and aligned with strategic objectives.
  • The Demand Coordinator supports governance processes by maintaining the demand pipeline, coordinating reviews, and ensuring transparency in decision-making.
  • They work closely with demand managers, program managers, portfolio owners, resource managers, and business leaders to analyze demand requirements, validate business cases, and assist in capacity planning.
  • May supervise and manage special projects/programs as needed.
  • May supervise, hire, train, provide work direction, and problem-solving assistance for employees within the department.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
