Position

• The National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) is the U.S. Government agency in charge of designing, building, launching, and maintaining America’s intelligence satellites.

What You'll Do

• Information Management provides a structured mechanism to organize and manage information.

• Design, develop, and manage web pages, business process tools, presentation technologies, workflows, or other technologies inherent to NRO, in support of Office, Group, Directorate, and/or Chief Information Officer (CIO) needs and requirements.

• Design, manage, implement, and account for technology interfaces, graphics, drivers, code, etc., in support of Office, Group, Directorate, and/or Chief Information Officer (CIO) needs and requirements.

• Ingest, manage, and disperse enterprise communications (e.g., emails, postings, threads, fora, etc.) and technologies, to support the proliferation of Government strategy, priorities, goals and objectives, workforce communications, or other Government requirements.

• Measurement helps to define the types of information needed to support system technical decisions and program management including timeliness, meeting performance requirements and quality attributes, effective use of resources, conformance to standards, and continuous improvement in reducing cost and cycle time.

• Recommend, and when approved, assist the Government to implement, monitor, and recommend refinements to system/service measures of effectiveness, system/service key performance indicators (KPIs), other system/service measures of performance, and technical performance measures.

• Recommend measurement opportunities, and when approved, assist the Government to implement, monitor and recommend improvements to system/service acquisition and system/service operations measurements.

• Recommend, and when approved, assist the Government to implement, monitor and recommend refinements to System Engineering leading indicators that provide insight into future SE needs or performance throughout the system/service life cycle.

• Develop and submit candidate metrics to the Government for approval for the COMM SE functional area and IT processes, to document initial baseline process performance, identify meaningful improvements, track progress, and identify efficiency and quality goals.

• Report implemented measures to appropriate COMM IT governance fora, COMM IT dashboards, and at PMRs (CDRL A045, Program Management Review) as directed by the Government
