INFORMATION ARCHITECT
tojoin Finnair’s Digital Transformation & Architecture team.In this role, you will play a keypartin enabling value-driven use of data and information across the company. You will design andmaintainenterprise-level information models, ensure consistent data definitions and governance, and work closely with business, data, and technology stakeholders to support Finnair’s digital transformation and strategy execution.This role sits at the intersection of business, data, and architecture, ensuring that information is clearly defined, well governed, and effectively used across domains.
What You Will Do:
As an Information Architect, you will:
Design andmaintainconceptual and logical information models across key airline domains.
Develop an end-to-end understanding of how information is produced, stored, and consumed across the organization.
Ensure consistent, governed, and value-driven use of information across business and IT
Align information architecture with enterprise architecture, business capabilities, and digital initiatives.
Define and develop information architecture principles, guardrails, and standards for development teams.
Support data governance, data quality, metadata, and lineage initiatives.
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, data & analytics experts, data stewards, data architects, and enterprise architects.
Contribute to solution planning by providing information architecture designs for development initiatives.
Support regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g.GDPR) through structured data practices.
What arewelooking for?
Ability to buildend-to-end understanding of information flows
Strong experience in conceptual & logical data modelling and data lineage
Ability to align information architecture with enterprise architecture (capabilities, processes, systems, initiatives)
Proven capability to produce practical EA deliverables (target architectures, key data objects, roadmaps)
Experience in defining and applying information architecture principles,standardsand guardrails
Solid knowledge of data governance, ownership, stewardship,metadataand data product concepts
Strong facilitation skills to drive cross-functional workshops and solution shaping (business+ data + tech)
Delivery-oriented mindset: able to support initiatives with hands-on IA input and decision guidance
Facilitation skills to run workshops
Hands-on experience with EA tools, datacatalogsand modelling tools
Mid-senior experience (5+ years) withstrong communication, analytical thinking, collaboration, and understanding of agile ways of working and data/privacy compliance
