Abbott is seeking a highly capable Informatics Technical Specialist II (ITS II) to support the commercial activation and expansion of AlinIQ Digital Health Solutions in Vietnam.
The ITS II plays a critical role beyond traditional implementation - acting as:
• A technical delivery expert
• A trusted partner for customers to support and expand existing AlinIQ systems
• A key contributor to building Abbott’s first reference sites in Vietnam

Role Purpose
A skilled technical specialist responsible for end-to-end delivery of AlinIQ solutions, capable of operating independently in complex and non-standard environments while supporting customer adoption and value realization.
The ITS II combines:
• Hands-on technical implementation expertise
• Practical understanding of laboratory workflows
• Strong customer engagement skills
to ensure successful deployments that drive measurable operational improvements and establish Abbott as a trusted digital partner.

Key Responsibilities
1. Implementation & Post-Implementation Delivery Excellence

• Independently implement, configure, and integrate AlinIQ solutions
• Execute project plans with strong ownership, quality, and risk management
• Handle system validation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution in live environments
• Delivering user and technical training adapted to varying customer maturity

2. Workflow Analysis & Solution Expansion
• In collaboration with the DHS Consultant (commercial), assess current laboratory workflows, including manual validation processes and inefficiencies
• Support identification of further automation opportunities (e.g., auto-validation, TAT improvement)
• Suggest opportunities to increase the utilization of AlinIQ products in existing laboratories

3. Integration in Complex IT Ecosystems
• Configure and support integration with LIS / middleware and the analyzer fleets (multi-vendor environments)
• Work closely with customer IT teams and third-party vendors to resolve interface and connectivity challenges

4. Customer Engagement & Market Development
• Build strong, trust-based relationships with lab directors, IT teams, and hospital stakeholders
• Support pilot deployments and early-stage implementations, including measurement of outcomes (e.g., TAT reduction, automation rates)
• Contribute to developing local reference sites, a key success factor for market expansion

5. Continuous Improvement & Feedback
• Capture customer feedback and provide input for product and solution enhancements
• Maintain accurate project documentation and system records
• Share learnings across the regional team to accelerate capability building

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Medical Informatics, or related field
• Typically 2–4 years of experience in healthcare IT, laboratory informatics, or related technical roles
• Experience with LIS, middleware, or diagnostics systems strongly preferred
