As an Informatics Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for the overall sales results within the western US for the FreezerPro® system. Manage your own territory, collaborate with expert colleagues, and travel up to 25% while helping shape the future of research.

FreezerPro® is Azenta Life Sciences intuitive, fast, reliable and secure solution which enables users to know precisely where a laboratory sample is located even before opening the freezer door.

FreezerPro® is a web-based sample inventory management system ideal for small labs and SME customers. FreezerPro® manages hundreds of collections in all types of organizations ranging from small research outfits to central bio repositories with millions of records. Customers rely on FreezerPro® for secure management of samples and sample information.

What You’ll Do…

• Manage and grow customer accounts within your assigned territory: US-West
• US-West Territory States: AK, AR, AZ, CA, CO, IA, IL, IN, ID, KS, LA, MN, MO, MT, ND, NE, NM, NV, OK, OR, SD, TX, WA, WY
• Manage & maintain an accurate pipeline in Salesforce for accurate monthly/quarterly forecasting
• Deliver engaging presentations and product demonstrations to customers
• Lead and close complex sales opportunities directly
• Collaborate with other Azenta product line teams to offer complete solutions
• Proactively identify and develop new leads and business opportunities
• Support and partner with distributor representatives to drive sales
• Serve as a trusted resource for customers and distributors, sharing product and company expertise

What you will Bring…

• Bachelor's Degree required (Biology or Life Sciences preferred) 
• 2+ Years relevant experience in account management selling to various stakeholders in a lab environment in a designated region/ territory. Bonus if you have software sales experience. 
• Proven track record in meeting/ exceeding sales goals
• Experience with and knowledge of the sample storage and/or molecular biology market is desirable. 
• Demonstrates keen business acumen, sound decision making, analytical and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment; a consultative approach to managing client relationships 
• Confident communication (written and oral) skills and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders of internal and external organizations 
• Knowledge and expertise of sample biopreservation; Biobanking, cell cryopreservation, gene therapy, drug discovery is highly desirable
• Must have valid driver’s license 

Working Conditions/ Schedule

• Home office based (Western US, as defined above)
• Frequent business travel (up to 25%)
• Stable home office setup that can support virtual meetings and demos
• Compensation will include incentive target plus car allowance. Full benefits package plus 401k with corporate match.

United States Base Compensation: $84,000.00 - $101,000.00

The posted pay range for this position is an estimate based on current market data and internal pay structure. Final compensation may vary above or below this range depending on factors such as experience, education (including licensure and certifications), qualifications, performance, and geographic location, among other relevant business or organizational needs.
