Come Drive Innovation with Us. We are currently looking for a Senior DOM to join our team in South Florida.

Supports assigned dealerships’ sales operations to achieve all district’s new vehicle wholesale and retail sales objectives including commercial. In addition, promotes and supports all customer service and sales enhancing programs such as CPO and rental programs. Assesses sales operations through routine contact and site visits. Identifies areas of improvement and motivates dealership sales management to make improvements and take corrective actions to drive sales. Helps identify best in class dealerships’ practices and recommends incorporation into programs and policies. Works with Fixed Operations Manager counterpart to synergize operations. Provides logistical support relating to market representation changes and issues affecting assigned dealerships as directed by AGM. Cooperates with other districts to maximize national sales efforts.

Districts may consist of 8 to 10 Dealerships depending on complexity and geographic factors.

A Day in the Life:

  • Drive wholesale and retail performance by advising dealerships on sales operations, inventory management, promotions, and ROI.

  • Conduct regular dealership visits to assess sales effectiveness, operations, and leadership alignment with company objectives.

  • Review sales reports and financial statements; monitor inventory, cash flow, and capital; recommend actions to improve profitability and compliance.

  • Evaluate dealership marketing and advertising strategies; recommend proven programs and demonstrate financial impact.

  • Analyze market conditions, registration data, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities and optimize sales strategies.

  • Educate dealership staff on incentive, reward, and specialty vehicle programs (commercial, fleet, EV); ensure compliance and correct execution.

  • Monitor vehicle inventory levels and car mix; address aged inventory and recommend ordering adjustments to improve sales performance.

  • Partner with regional teams to align model allocation and distribution with market demand.

  • Assess customer experience and retail operations; identify gaps, implement best practices, and develop action plans to improve satisfaction scores.

  • Evaluate staffing effectiveness and training needs; recommend coaching, development, or staffing changes as needed.

  • Support AGM and leadership with dealer compliance, communications, and dealership openings or closings.

  • Represent the brand at auto shows and special events to support dealer, regional, and national sales initiatives.

Who We're Looking for:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field required.

  • A total of 6 years of progressive Marketing and Sales experience

  • A minimum 3 years of analytical experience in various specialties of the automotive industry including: Sales Ops, Dealer Agrmts, Marketing, Parts & Serv, Sales Reporting, Mkt Rep, Market Analytics, Pricing, Consumer Affairs, Distribution, Customer Satisfaction/Experience, Advertising & Promotions, Warranty, Car flow, car mix, Facilities/Merchandising, CMM/ML, Manufacturing, Contests & Incentives, Product Planning

  • Prior work may be a combination within a dealership, region, headquarters, or manufacturing facility and may be at the Analyst or Regional Manager level or similar type of position.

  • At least 2 or more additional years of experience within a previous dealer contact support role such as FSM, FOM or DOM role is required for some district assignments and advancement to the senior level.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of word processor, spreadsheet, other PC applications, or mainframe applications to produce non-standard, creative products.

  • Proven ability to read and understand financial statements and other key operating reports and apply to strategies to improve sales.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize own schedules and organize work load effectively with minimal daily supervision.

  • Demonstrated ability to function effectively and remain productive in a virtual office environment

  • Ability to focus on the best interests of the dealership and Nissan. Can remain objective in the course of building relationships.

  • Dedication to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.

  • Attentive to others opinions and perspectives. Demonstrated ability to influence the actions of others by building credibility through dealership knowledge, effective recommendations, clear communications, honesty, and demonstrated follow-up on promises.

  • Result driven even in the face of resistance or setbacks.

  • Understands dealer agreements and required performance and policy compliance for dealerships.

  • Ability to present ideas and analysis in an effective manner.

  • Ability to understand the complexities of situations and solicit assistance from others as needed.

Desired:

  • Classes towards Nissan Way Leadership Academy Certification, Completion of Nissan Sales & Service Way Training, Model Line Certification preferred.

  • Previous experience supervising others and previous experience in a sales capacity is desirable.

Travel:
More than 75% day and overnight domestic travel.
