
The primary roles and responsibilities will be focus on inpatient and outpatient clinical care and consultations in Infectious Diseases at Clements University Hospital. Applicants will also provide support for Parkland Hospital general ID inpatient services. Participation in the teaching and training of medical students, residents and ID fellows is also expected. The interests of the applicant and needs of the division will determine the exact distribution of responsibilities for an individual faculty member.
· M.D. degree, or equivalent from an approved LCME medical school and satisfactory completion of an Internal Medicine residency programfrom an ACGME accredited program.
· Level of appointment will be commensurate with experience.
· Candidate must be eligible for Texas medical licensure and be board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases.
