As an Infection Preventionist IP Nurse at Lock Haven Rehabilitation & Senior Living, you will be responsible for promoting a culture of infection prevention and control within our long-term care facility. Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain infection prevention and control policies and procedures
Conduct surveillance, outbreak investigations, and data analysis to identify and control infectious diseases
Provide education and training to staff, residents, and families on infection prevention and control practices
Conduct routine observations and monitoring of practices to ensure compliance with infection prevention and control standards
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement evidence-based infection prevention and control protocols
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to reduce hospital-acquired infections and improve patient outcomes

Requirements:
