This position functions as a consultant, educator, role model, researcher and change agent for Infection Control, and is involved in daily collaborative efforts within all facets of the medical center. Responsibilities include education, surveillance, prevention, control and quality improvement in an effort to ensure high quality, evidence-based, cost-effective health care and the prevention of health care associated infections. The incumbent is also responsible for collection and analysis of infection-related data, assisting with determining the course of transmission, applying epidemiological principle directed at improving patient outcomes, and serving as liaison/consultant regarding infection control practices.
Pay Range $46.73 - $65.41
