Napa Post Acute is seeking an experienced Infection Preventionist (LVN) to lead and manage our infection prevention and control program. What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Develop and maintain infection prevention & control programs
  • Conduct infection surveillance, tracking, and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with CDC, CDPH, and CMS regulations
  • Provide staff education and training on infection control practices
  • Perform audits, rounds, and risk assessments
  • Lead outbreak investigations and response efforts
  • Partner with nursing leadership to improve quality and safety outcomes

What Weโ€™re Looking For

  • Active California LVN license (required)
  • Experience in infection prevention, skilled nursing, or post-acute care preferred
  • Knowledge of infection control standards (CDC, CDPH, CMS)
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently and lead initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

  • Infection Preventionist training or certification (IP, CIC, or willing to obtain)
  • Experience in quality improvement or leadership roles
