Location: Park Ridge, QLD 4125

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 11:00am (25 hours per week), permanent part-time

Salary: $35–$45 per hour (depending on experience) + superannuation + leave entitlements

Minis: Boy, 3.5 years and boy, 2 months

Commence: Monday 2 November 2026

This warm, close-knit family is looking for a caring nanny to become part of their daily rhythm. Their home is calm, quiet and minimalist, with no loud music and very little screen time. It feels like a sanctuary (with a few toys in every room!). The family values loyalty, connection, honesty, empathy and kindness. They love swimming, cycling, reading and playing at the park.

Their eldest has recently welcomed a baby brother and started daycare for the first time, so this role is all about bringing calm, consistent and nurturing support to the family's mornings during a big season of change. Mum is based at home, so you'll work alongside a supportive, communicative parent who values partnership.

Duties:

• Care of a newborn and toddler during morning routines
• Infant care, including feeding, settling, nappy changes and following baby's routine
• Bathing and dressing the children
• Preparing simple, nutritious meals for the children
• Getting the toddler ready calmly for his daycare day
• Children's laundry
• Light household duties: kitchen tidy, dishes, wipe-downs and rubbish

The perfect fit:

You're a gentle, experienced nanny with a real love for babies and proven infant care experience. You're honest, trustworthy and compassionate, and you bring a quiet, calm energy into the home. You take initiative, notice what needs doing, and communicate openly. Most importantly, you understand how precious it is for a family to hand over care of a new baby for the first time, and you earn that trust from day one.

Requirements:

• Proven nanny or childcare experience, including infant/newborn care
• Current Blue Card, Paediatric First Aid and CPR & Police check
• Up-to-date vaccinations
• Own reliable car and licence (no driving of the children required)
• Glowing references
