Join Our Team as an Infant Room Assistant Teacher!
Do you have a heart for infants and a passion for early childhood development? The Goddard School of Collegeville is looking for a compassionate and reliable Part-time or Full -Time Infant Assistant Teacher to support our youngest learners (ages 3 months to 1 year) during this critical stage of growth. In this essential role, you’ll help create a safe, loving, and stimulating space where our youngest learners can explore, connect, and thrive. You’ll play a key part in supporting their early milestones, forming meaningful bonds with each child, and building trusted partnerships with families.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care and supervision for infants, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Communicate verbally and in-writing with parents about their child’s progress, behavior, and daily experiences
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom that meets health and safety regulations.
• Assist with basic care tasks, such as feeding, diapering, and helping infants with motor skill development.
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Attend staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and training sessions as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred
• Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred
• 2-5 years of previous experience working with young children (preferably infants or young toddlers) in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred
• Has successfully completed state-required pre-service training
• Develops relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty members
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children

Compensation: $17.50 - $18.25 per hour
