Job Location: Brentwood, Tennessee - Brentwood, TN 37027The Currey Ingram Academy Child Development Center is currently accepting applications for the following full time position: Infant Class Teacher
The Currey Ingram Child Development Center is an Infant - Pre-K childcare program that serves the children of academy faculty and members of the surrounding community. The CDC places an emphasis on outdoor education and offers a dynamic enrichment program that includes gardening, cooking, foreign language, music, and movement. Teachers are provided with the Frogstreet curriculum and are supported with a mentor.

QualificationsPreference is given to candidates who have experience working with these specific age groups as well as early childhood education credentials, or their equivalent. General staff responsibilities include overseeing the daily operation of the classroom and working with the other teachers to meet the developmental, physical, and emotional needs of the children. Teachers are expected to manage the classroom with positive behavioral expectations. Our program is not specialized for specific learning needs, and a background in special education is not required.
Teacher requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, 21 years of age or older
Rate: $20/hr starting pay
