InEight Estimating Program SpecialistThis role is focused on enabling and coaching estimating and project teams in the effective use of InEight Estimate and InEight Control. Acting as a trusted advisor, the role leverages practical estimating experience to guide teams in building high-quality, standardized estimates that support reliable cost control, forecasting, and execution.
This is not a hands-on estimating role—success is measured by the capability built within teams, the quality of estimate structures, and consistent adoption of InEight and Estimate Conformance practices.
This position is based in Winnipeg, MB.
InEightEstimating Coaching & Enablement (Primary Focus)
Serve as a subject matter expert inInEightEstimate and Control
Coach estimators and project teams on building, structuring, and maintaining estimates withinInEight
Drive consistent adoption of standardized estimate structures and workflows
Identify gaps in usage and provide practical, hands-on guidance to improve estimate quality and system maturity
Estimate Conformance & Data Integrity
Coach teams on Estimate Conformance as a critical control process
Guide alignment between estimate structure, execution strategy, and reporting requirements
Promote strong data integrity and consistency to enable reliable forecasting and cost control
Field Guidance & Capability Building
Act as a trusted advisor to estimators and project teams, bringing real-world credibility
Reinforce estimating best practices throughInEight-enabled workflows
Support teams in strengthening the link between estimate, execution, and performance tracking
Standardization & Continuous Improvement
Promote One Bird estimating standards and consistent use ofInEighttools
Reduce reliance on spreadsheets and non-standard tools through coaching and system adoption
Capture field feedback to improve estimating practices, standards, and system effectiveness
7+ years of construction estimating / cost development experience
Direct, hands-on experience withInEightEstimate (required)
Strong understanding of cost control, forecasting, and project execution
Proven ability to coach, influence, and drive adoption without direct authority
