Job Description

The responsibilities of the role include:

  • Serve as industry evangelist and domain expert based on in-depth experience in roles similar to our ICP to drive revenue and customer retention/satisfaction
  • Identify and gain organizational buy-in on key vertical use-cases to prioritize
  • Run industry CoE, ensuring that all functional areas have the support and programs in place to institutionalize use cases and vertical leadership with consistency and cohesion
  • Consult with existing and prospective accounts, as well as existing/prospective partner organizations to:
    • Demonstrate expertise, deepen relationships, and reinforce credibility [including playing a pivotal role in supporting sales enablement, account management, and customer success
    • Leverage existing relationships to accelerate traction in new accounts or partners
    • Critically evaluate information gathered to understand underlying needs and potential impact on revenue, loyalty, and growth and then mobilize resources for success
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to collaborate on go-to-market strategy, transferring knowledge, articulating value statements, supporting solution selling with relevant asset creation, and uncovering/accelerating opportunities within existing pipeline
  • Create and manage C-level industry advisory boards and user groups designed to incorporate VoC into all SMART operations and create loyal brand ambassadors
  • Serve as a conduit between customers and development by crafting and proposing validated, compelling solutions, enhancements, or future feature requests
  • Speak at industry events/with media and analysts

What we’re looking for:

  • You will be a Senior-level executive with extensive Healthcare industry experience
  • Domain expertise to enhance sales, pre-sales, CSM, partner activities and enable greater vertical fluency across GTM
  • A Natural connector – faster and higher access to DMs inside partner, customer, and prospective accounts
  • Instant credibility to engage in account strategy discussions and industry forums
  • Voice of Customer responsibility inside SMART, synthesizing and delivering feedback for product packaging, enhancements, roadmap, and customer success
  • CIO Advisory Board development/creation
  • User Group development/creation
  • Create impact through activity engagement (collaboration on industry-specific proposals, customer meetings, events, networking)

KPIs:

  • Growth in industry pipeline (with cross-functional target set for achievement)
  • Growth in industry closed/won (with cross-functional target set for achievement)
  • Growth in existing customer base (adoption of new use cases, geos, etc)
  • Demonstrable working knowledge of key reference accounts, with a minimum of (5-8) senior strategic relationships we can pull from for speaking sessions/testimonials/case studies, PR, analysts, reference calls
