
We are looking for an experienced professional to join our European go-to-market project team as an Industry Expert for Electric Mobility & Industrial Vehicles You will support Chinese manufacturers in entering the EU market across three product segments:
Small Low-Speed Electric Cars (e.g. L6e / L7e vehicles)
Electric Three-Wheelers / Golf Cart–Style Vehicles
Electric Scooters & Forklifts
This role is part of Step 1 of our structured market entry approach: “Market Analysis & Strategy”. You will help assess market fit, define positioning, and contribute to strategy formulation based on deep industry knowledge and first-hand insights.
Responsibilities:
Analyze market structure, customer segments, and regulatory implications for assigned product types
Evaluate product-market fit, price levels, and competitive offerings
Identify key use cases and value propositions per segment
Participate in expert interviews and stakeholder workshops
Support customer journey mapping and buying process logic
Contribute to naming and branding recommendations
Support the team in assessing distribution channels and market barriers
Provide input on certifications, safety standards, and homologation needs
Collaborate in preparing reports, presentations, and strategic recommendations
Requirements:
7+ years of experience in at least one of the following sectors: micro-mobility, electric scooters, material handling equipment (forklifts), or LSVs (Low-Speed Vehicles)
Familiar with EU market trends, customer behavior, and import conditions
Knowledge of homologation and certification standards (e.g. L7e, CE, EN standards)
Strategic thinking combined with practical, operational understanding
Excellent communication skills in English; German or French is a plus
Location: flexible within Europe prefered Germany, remote with occasional travel
