At the Australian Trade Training College (ATTC), we don’t just deliver training — we create pathways to real careers. As our programs grow, we’re looking for a highly connected, motivated Industry Engagement Officer to help turn student potential into employment outcomes.

Working with our VET in Schools students, this is a role for someone who thrives on building relationships, opening doors, and making things happen.

The Opportunity

You will be the critical link between students and industry — working closely with employers to secure work placements, apprenticeships and employment pathways.

Through strong networking and strategic engagement, you’ll help students take the next step from training into meaningful careers.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, industry and community stakeholders
  • Secure work placements, apprenticeships and job opportunities for students
  • Proactively generate leads and grow employer networks
  • Represent ATTC at industry events, schools and networking opportunities
  • Match students with employers based on skills and workforce needs
  • Track placements and outcomes, ensuring strong engagement and follow-through
  • Promote ATTC programs and develop pathways aligned to industry demand

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, recruitment or stakeholder engagement
  • Strong ability to network, influence and build lasting relationships
  • Highly proactive with a results-driven mindset
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Passion for helping people into employment or career pathways
  • Understanding of apprenticeships, training or employment sectors (highly regarded)

Why Join ATTC?

  • Play a key role in connecting students to real jobs and careers
  • Work with a respected not-for-profit RTO backed by IntoWork Group
  • Autonomy to build your own network and make a tangible impact
  • Be part of a purpose-driven, growing organisation
  • Supportive, collaborative team environment

If you’re a natural connector who thrives on building relationships and driving outcomes, we want to hear from you.

Successful applicants must be eligible to work in Australia. A current Working with Children Blue Card and National Police Check is required and can be arranged for the suitable candidate.

Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
