Role description:

As Industry Advisory Lead for Industrial Manufacturing and Technology, you will translate global industry priorities into a regional go to market strategy that accelerates advisory led growth, strengthens pipeline quality, and increases cross sell across priority accounts.

This role shapes advisory propositions for the industrial, manufacturing, and technology market, builds senior stakeholder relationships, and mobilizes Arcadis capabilities to address complex client needs.

The role works closely with Account Leaders, Service Area Group Leaders, Marketing, Commercial, Workforce Planning, and Delivery Leadership to connect market opportunity with executable delivery capability.

Role accountabilities:

Industry Strategy and Execution

• Translate global industry direction into regional execution plans and priority growth themes.
• Align industry priorities with regional Advisory strategy and capacity planning.
• Define targeted value propositions, campaigns, and client outcomes for Industrial Manufacturing and Technology.
• Maintain a clear view of priority clients, segments, and strategic opportunities.

Growth and Pipeline Leadership

• Drive advisory led pipeline generation, quality, coverage, and conversion discipline.
• Partner with account teams to embed Advisory into account planning and Client Success Teams.
• Mobilize cross Service Area Group teams for strategic pursuits and delivery.
• Strengthen cross sell of Advisory capability into priority accounts and programs.

Client and Commercial Leadership

• Build trusted relationships with senior clients and industry stakeholders.
• Partner with Account Executives and Account Leaders to shape strategic pursuits.
• Influence bid decisions, pursuit strategy, pricing approach, and commercial positioning.
• Ensure pursuit activity is grounded in value-based propositions and client outcomes.

Capability and Innovation

• Define priority capabilities aligned to industrial, manufacturing, technology, digital, data, and AI enabled advisory opportunities.
• Build and lead a community of advisory specialists aligned to the industry.
• Support workforce planning, talent development, and future skills development.
• Promote knowledge sharing and scale best practices across Advisory and Service Area Groups.

Governance and Delivery Alignment

• Apply commercial, risk, quality, and compliance frameworks consistently.
• Ensure alignment between pipeline, resources, and delivery capability.
• Maintain visibility of capacity and contribute to workforce planning decisions.
• Ensure growth is sustainable, executable, and aligned to quality standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Significant experience in industrial manufacturing, technology, digital transformation, infrastructure advisory, consulting, or related professional services.
• Proven ability to develop and execute industry growth strategies in a matrixed organization.
• Strong track record of building trusted internal and client relationships and converting strategic opportunities.
• Commercial acumen, including experience influencing pursuit strategy, pricing, bid decisions, and value-based propositions.
• Ability to work across account teams, delivery teams, Service Area Groups, marketing, commercial, and people functions.
• Experience developing market propositions, campaigns, thought leadership, and client facing advisory solutions.
• Ability to build capability, sponsor talent development, and create strong specialist communities.
• Strong commitment to quality, compliance, collaboration, inclusion, and sustainable performance.
