We are looking for an Industrialization Project Leader (R&D) to lead projects related to new assembly equipment and industrialization, supporting new product launches and continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, and cost optimization. Work closely with Process & Product Engineering, Production, Automation, Quality, and Technical teams to ensure successful industrialization and equipment transfer. This position reports to the Industrialization Manager based at the Dole site.
About the job:
Lead cross-functional projects from concept and technical definition through to equipment qualification.
Ensure delivery of project objectives (Quality, Cost, Delivery) and industrialization milestones.
Plan, coordinate, and monitor project activities, ensuring clear reporting to stakeholders.
Define technical specifications, action plans, and project schedules aligned with priorities and resources.
Oversee equipment validation, qualification, and implementation.
Anticipate and manage risks, supporting problem-solving with production and quality teams.
Capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement and best practices.
Act as a technical reference within the area of expertise.
Manage external suppliers, including technical specifications, negotiations, and performance follow-up (QCD).
About you:
Strong knowledge of micromechanics, automation, statistical tools, DoE, and quality methodologies.
Experience in manufacturing processes, industrial equipment, and continuous improvement.
Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and propose technical solutions.
Customer-focused, proactive, and innovative.
Collaborative and results-driven.
Strong sense of accountability, quality, and integrity.
Leadership mindset with adaptability and a continuous improvement approach.
Good English and French language skills
