Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Industrialization Manager.

What you’ll do:


The Industrialization Manager plays a key leadership role in translating Bussmann’s technology and product roadmap into scalable, robust, and cost‑competitive manufacturing solutions. This role leads a multi‑disciplinary industrialization team responsible for new product industrialization, manufacturing automation for new or enhanced products, supplier development, critical process improvements, and value engineering (VAVE) across Bussmann manufacturing locations.

This role will lead and develop a high‑impact Industrialization organization that enables speed to market, manufacturing excellence, and cost competitiveness for Bussmann through aligned NPI execution, advanced manufacturing solutions, and continuous improvement programs.

Job responsibilities
• Define and deploy the Bussmann Industrialization strategy, aligned with Engineering, Operations, and Product Line strategies, encompassing NPI, automation, supplier readiness, process robustness, industrialization/prototype lab and VAVE deployment across sites
• Lead and develop a team of industrialization engineers and specialists, assigning priorities, managing project execution, and ensuring strong technical and program performance within cross‑functional teams (Engineering, Operations, SCM, Quality)
• Own industrialization execution for New Product Introductions (NPI), ensuring designs are manufacturable, scalable, safe, and cost‑effective through structured PROLaunch stage‑gate activities and manufacturing readiness assessments
• Drive manufacturing line automation and digitization initiatives for new or enhanced products, including equipment development, process automation, error‑proofing, and test system enhancements to improve safety, capacity, quality, and labor productivity
• Collaborate closely with Design Engineering to influence architectures, materials, tolerances, and specifications early in development to balance performance, risk, manufacturability, and total cost
• Oversee development and deployment of manufacturing processes and assets, including tooling, fixtures, equipment, testers, and controls, ensuring compliance with capital plans, safety requirements, and global standards
• Lead supplier development activities in collaboration with Supply Chain and Quality, ensuring external suppliers meet Bussmann requirements for capability, capacity, quality, cost, and timeline readiness for both new and existing products
• Own critical process improvement programs for core and high‑risk manufacturing processes, applying statistical methods, process capability analysis, and robust validation to improve yield, reliability, and compliance
• Drive value engineering and cost‑out (VAVE) initiatives, partnering with Product Management, Engineering, and Operations to build and execute a sustainable pipeline of material, process, and design‑driven savings
• Support Bussmann manufacturing sites during product launches and transitions, providing hands‑on technical leadership, issue resolution, and knowledge transfer to ensure stable ramp‑ups and sustained performance
• Ensure compliance with Eaton policies and safety standards, fostering a culture of operational excellence, disciplined execution, and continuous improvement

Qualifications:

Education level required
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution

Biligual Spanish - English

Years and area of experience required
• Minimum 5 years of related engineering experience in manufacturing

Technical knowledge
• Demonstrated experience implementing new, automated processes in a high production environment
