What Impact You'll Make:
The GT Rotors, Structures, Airfoils Leader is central to the overall global supply chain product delivery strategy. In this role, this individual will lead a team to industrialize new products, manage component and product transfers between factories and suppliers, execute new product/technology introduction programs, drive product cost reduction and support the global capacity ramp.

In this role, you will be a key member of the NPI and Industrialization team. The NPI team is focused on managing the cross-functional efforts required to Introduce and Industrialize new, products, and services as well as lead qualifications for the global capacity ramp. The team partners with engineering, product line, pivot to value, sourcing, lean, manufacturing and repair teams to ensure robust products are designed that meet the needs of both our factories and our customers in all aspects of SQDC. Key KPIs for this role include safety, quality, delivery, cash and cost.

What you'll do:

  • This position requires strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills as well as a passion for quality and continuous improvement.
  • Leading and mentoring global team of Advanced Manufacturing Engineers.
  • Lead and collaborate across multiple organizations (Product Line, Engineering, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Quality, Materials Management) to industrialize new products on time that meet quality and standards while achieving cost targets for both equipment and service programs.
  • Iterate from concept through final design with design teams to ensure balance of producibility and cost.
  • Attending/Facilitating Kaizens and Roadmaps to support the capacity ramp
  • Responsible for successful execution of Rotor/Airfoil/Structures NPI programs following the SQDC framework for both new units and services
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders within the Global Supply Chain team to analyze and evaluate make-versus-buy router decisions, evaluate program level plant and equipment investments, lead and drive projects
  • Regional and global factory support
  • Cultivating positive working environment and morale; drive a sense of urgency and quality with speed
  • Ensuring the team delivers change that has business impact
  • Accountability to manage component and product transfers between factories and supplier operations
  • Accountability to manage qualification execution in line with Global Capacity Ramp
  • Strong connection with Quality organization to ensure robust hand-off during NPI & industrialization process.

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Operations Management, or other Supply Chain related studies
  • Experience in leading engineering, product management, sourcing and/or manufacturing teams
  • At least 7 years of relevant engineering experience

Eligibility Requirement

  • Willingness to travel up to 15%

Requis

  • Diplôme de Bachelor en ingénierie, gestion des opérations, supply chain ou domaine proche, ou expérience équivalente.
  • 7 ans ou plus d’expérience pertinente en ingénierie, fabrication, approvisionnement, produit ou opérations.
  • Expérience dans l’encadrement d’équipe ou la conduite de projets transverses dans un environnement industriel, d’ingénierie ou de fabrication.
  • Disponibilité pour voyager jusqu’à 15 % du temps.

Souhaité

  • 10 ans ou plus d’expérience en ingénierie turbine et/ou fabrication.
  • Expérience des outils Lean et des méthodes de résolution de problèmes structurées comme le 8D, le PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) et les 5 pourquoi.
  • Expérience de travail dans un environnement mondial, multi-sites.
  • Bonnes capacités de négociation, de communication et de présentation.
  • Expérience des procédés de fabrication avancés et forte sensibilité qualité.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $144,000.00 and $240,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
