As Industrial Services Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective management and operation of the factory’s industrial services. You will support the reliable, efficient, compliant, and cost-effective generation and distribution of essential utilities, including steam, refrigeration, water and effluent treatment, hygienic air handling, and compressed air. You will report directly to the Factory Engineer.

A Day in the Life of Industrial Services Engineer

  • Ensure that employees responsible for managing, operating, and maintaining industrial services facilities and infrastructure have the required competencies.
  • Establish, review, and implement competency assessments and development plans for the Industrial Services team.
  • Plan and manage the design, modification, and improvement of industrial services plants, equipment, and infrastructure, working with qualified third parties where required.
  • Support the operation of industrial services to achieve high efficiency, quality, and compliance.
  • Assist with budgeting and cost monitoring for industrial services operations.
  • Identify and drive energy- and water-saving opportunities across factory operations.
  • Manage quality, environmental, statutory, and internal compliance requirements through effective monitoring processes and routines.
  • Ensure process and personnel safety throughout the design, installation, operation, inspection, and auditing of industrial services plants and equipment.
  • Collaborate with Factory Engineering, Production, SH&E, and the factory PM Pillar team, as well as technical suppliers, local authorities, and utility service providers.

What Will Make You Successful

  • Bachelor degree preferably in Mechanical Engineer.
  • At least three years of experience in an Industrial Services engineering discipline, preferably within a food manufacturing environment.
  • Experience operating or supervising teams responsible for boilers, fired-pressure systems, or other large combustion systems.
  • Industrial refrigeration and ammonia experience is required for factories operating large distributed ammonia systems.
  • Knowledge of local regulatory and statutory requirements related to industrial services and environmental management.
  • Good understanding of asset maintenance, TPM methodology, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Familiarity with maintenance management systems, particularly SAP Plant Maintenance.
  • Strong commitment to product quality, people safety, process safety, and environmental protection.
  • Ability to engage, coach, and develop others while delivering results with integrity
