MAIN RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Coordinate and control the generation, distribution, supply, and maintenance of Industrial Fluids, ensuring production continuity.
  • Manage and oversee the generation, distribution, supply, and treatment of Industrial fluids required by installations and production processes.
  • Participate in the definition of investment and maintenance policies for installations and equipment.
  • Define new investments related to reliability, maintainability, and equipment obsolescence, in line with general business policies and health, safety, and environment regulations.
  • Ensure availability of proper maintenance plan and programs for the mills under charge and oversee execution in terms of quality, utilization, time, cost and safety standards.
  • Propose corrective actions in case there is any deviation from standards.
  • Ensure process continuity by overseeing the execution of maintenance preventive and corrective plans and programs.
  • Support the Engineering and Operations teams in the research and assessment of new technologies, procedures, and standards.
  • Ensure the correct sharing and implementation of maintenance standards, procedures, and best practices, identifying and proposing issues related to its applicability.
  • Ensure the proper management, cataloguing, update, and sharing of all technical maintenance documentation (e.g., technical specifications, procedures, operational processes, drawings, etc.)
  • Ensure the continuous provision of supplies and services, coordinating material procurement and repairs and supervising that the stock and spares holding levels are defined according to global standards.
  • Manage and oversee the operation and maintenance of Power distribution networks.
  • Ensure availability of the proper area Master plan for the solution of critical problems.
  • Ensure a systematic analysis of critical assets to identify and solve chronic problems, improve their availability, reliability and cost, and facilitate preventive maintenance activities.
  • Ensure the proper management, update, and use of maintenance information systems to support decision making.
  • Ensure the application of health, safety, and environment standards and practices.
  • Ensure availability of the proper area budget, according to equipment criticality and oversee its proper execution.
  • Foster the implementation of maintenance programs to minimize/optimize the use of required energy and promote improvement actions in general, including interventions on employees' behavior, to decrease all resources consumption waste.
  • Ensure contribution from a technical perspective in the analysis and solution of highly complex issues in the area of specialty.
  • Comply with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and ensure adherence with all laws and regulations.
  • Proactively motivate, coach, communicate with, and develop staff and manage HR related activities in line with Human Resources norms and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or closely related field.
  • Five (5) years of experience in a related occupation in the manufacturing industry performing each of the following: designing, developing, testing, and evaluating integrated systems for managing industrial production processes; utilizing engineering techniques for fluid dynamics and hydraulics; designing and maintaining high- medium-low voltage systems; predictive, preventative, and corrective maintenance; process flow analysis; assessing risks in systems operations; and ensuring safety during equipment maintenance in adherence with OSHA standards.
