Your mission, roles and responsibilities

Overall responsibilities and duties:

Active contribution to the accomplishment of all Industrial Development activities of new programs : Aligned with process development phase to participate in lean workshop with PML & Core Team for the new process and equipment definition industrial footprint, plant equipment selection (new / reuse / share ), Plant Lay Out, MIFD / MIFA, Industrial Timing & Industrial trials, documents for production vs standard and training support and aligned with PFMEA, Working Instructions, lay out projections and continuous improvement.

The main missions of the role are:

• Active participation in Lean Manufacturing workshop for process definition, pre acceptance and during implementation in plant.
• PFMEA development and control from development phase.
• Reverse PFMA from trial events until EMPT. (End Mass production Trial)
• SMED activities to improve change over before and during trials.
• Working Instruction aligned with lean manufacturing.
• Key Characteristic control
• Monitoring Direct Labor vs Business Plan during trials & EMPT with IPL.
• Line lay out optimization.
• Plant Lay Out update.
• Specific deliverables in PMS system.
• Training operator’s for new process implementation before trials and confirm during MPT and EMPT.
• CAPEX tracking and control vs process defined & amount with PML & IPL.
• Tracking Industrial Timing with PML & IPL.
• Handover to PE (Process Engineer) from SOP and support PE from the 6 months after SOP.

Following equipment specifications with global ME for spare parts, service, specifications, Human Interface, HSE requirements, traceability and performance evaluation with PML Global Team and IPL.

Support and participate in the creation of methods to ensure the performance of the site’s management systems

Your profile and competencies to succeed

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have/be:
Minimum education level: Engineer Bachelor or Technical Diploma with equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language: Advanced English.
Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing process. (Automotive preferred).

Experience :

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing

Skills and competencies

Basic Knowledge of IATF 16949.
Basic knowledge of Mexican health, safety, energy, and environmental standards.
Basic knowledge and identification of environmental aspects and impacts.
