Industrial Process Automation Engineer (m/f/d)

What you will enjoy doing

• In this role, you will develop, implement, maintain, and provide troubleshooting remote monitoring applications, advanced process control (APC), real-time optimization, and automation solutions as part of a highly skilled team of experts
• You will design and implement interfaces between our solutions and plant systems, including measurement systems, DCS, PLCs, machine monitoring systems, and IT infrastructures
• Also, you will create and configure control strategies, startup sequences, and advanced control functions to maximize plant performance and reliability
• Collaborate closely with customers, internal IT teams, and technology partners to successfully deliver innovative automation and optimization projects
• Contribute to the continuous development and enhancement of Linde's advanced automation, remote monitoring, and autonomous operations portfolio
• Support customers worldwide in improving efficiency, reliability, sustainability, and operational excellence through advanced digital solutions

What makes you great

• You have a Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Process Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline with a specialization in process automation
• Also, you have first experience in the automation, commissioning, start-up, or operation of process industry plants, such as petrochemical, chemical, oil & gas, or industrial gas facilities
• You possess basic knowledge of process control systems, advanced process control (APC), industrial automation technologies, and plant operations
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, customers, and technology partners in an international environment
• Willingness to travel globally for project execution, commissioning, and customer support
