Could you be the full-time onsite Industrial Planner in Hornell, NY, US we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive industrial planning expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated, collaborative, and skilled teammates. You'll manage the balance between customer demand and resource availability to achieve Quality, Cost, and Delivery targets, ensuring project timelines are met while optimizing site resources. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Supply Chain Management, Procurement, and Production), apply EHS rules and Golden rules of Industrial Planning, and much more.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Applying Industrial Planning Golden rules,

  • Managing demand in the Core Planning Tools and/or ERP systems,

  • Consolidating and analyzing demand forecasts from various teams,

  • Adhering to EHS rules (Alstom Zero Deviation Plan) in workshops,

  • Ensuring the consistency and completeness of demand forecasts and implementing corrective actions when necessary,

  • Validating the adequacy between project needs and supplier lead-times before firm demand registration,

  • Maintaining up-to-date data within the ERP/Core Planning Tool,

  • Collaborating on the quarterly S&OP, building industrial plans, and providing output for global consolidation,

  • Participating in the SIOP cycle, proposing feasible scenarios, and ensuring decisions reflect in MPS and/or Material Delivery Plan

  • Experience or understanding of supply chain processes and planning in a manufacturing or industrial environment,

  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred,

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and data analysis,

  • A certification in supply chain management or a strong grasp of communication skills,

  • Knowledge of Core Planning Tools and ERP systems,

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment,

  • Innovative and proactive approach to problem-solving,

  • Customer-oriented mindset with a strong sense of urgency,

  • Autonomous with the ability to synthesize critical issues effectively,

  • Willingness to travel occasionally and adapt to flexible working hours as required
