Job Description
Industrial Pipe Insulator
We are seeking experienced Industrial Pipe Insulators to support refinery, petrochemical, manufacturing, power generation, and industrial construction projects. This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and removing insulation systems on piping, vessels, tanks, boilers, ducts, and process equipment while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Install, remove, and repair insulation on piping systems, vessels, tanks, boilers, ducts, and industrial equipment.
- Measure, cut, fit, and secure insulation materials according to specifications.
- Install and maintain protective coverings and jacketing systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
- Ensure proper installation to maintain temperature control and energy efficiency.
- Follow all site-specific safety regulations and procedures.
- Work effectively with supervisors, maintenance teams, and other craft personnel.
Requirements
- Previous industrial insulation experience required.
- Refinery, petrochemical, manufacturing, or industrial construction experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and turnaround schedules.
Preferred Certifications
- TWIC Card
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
- NCCER Insulation Certification
- Valid Driver's License
Travel Requirements
Must be willing to travel for projects, including out-of-state assignments, shutdowns, and turnaround work.
