Industrial Painter / Blaster

Houston, TX / Pasadena, TX

DIHO Consulting is currently seeking experienced Industrial Painters and Blasters for projects in refinery, petrochemical, and industrial environments throughout the Houston and Pasadena areas.

Responsibilities:

• Perform sandblasting and surface preparation on industrial equipment, piping, tanks, and structural steel
• Apply industrial coatings, primers, epoxies, and protective paints using airless and conventional spray equipment
• Prepare surfaces through grinding, cleaning, masking, and sanding
• Maintain proper coating thickness and quality standards
• Follow all refinery and plant safety procedures
• Work in outdoor industrial environments, elevated areas, and confined spaces when required
• Assist with equipment setup, cleanup, and general project duties

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of industrial painting and/or blasting experience preferred
• Refinery, petrochemical, shipyard, or heavy industrial experience strongly preferred
• Experience operating blasting and spray painting equipment
• Must be able to work overtime and shutdown schedules if needed
• TWIC Card preferred
• Basic Plus, OSHA, or NCCER certifications are a plus
• Reliable transportation and good attendance required

Pay:

• Depending on experience, certifications, and project scope
• Opportunity for overtime and long-term work on certain projects

Work Environment:

• Industrial/refinery settings in Houston, Pasadena, Baytown, and surrounding areas
• PPE required at all times
• Must be comfortable working in heat and physically demanding conditions
