Make a meaningful impact on workplace health, safety, and employee wellbeing as an Industrial Occupational Health Nurse at Hitachi Energy. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

Working closely with employees, leadership, safety professionals, and external healthcare providers, you will play an essential role in managing workplace health initiatives, responding to medical situations, supporting injury prevention efforts, and promoting a culture of safety and wellbeing. How You'll Make an Impact

  • Conduct health assessments, screenings, and occupational health surveillance programs.
  • Provide first aid and emergency care for workplace injuries and illnesses.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee medical records.
  • Support wellness initiatives and health promotion programs that encourage healthy lifestyles.
  • Partner with safety teams to identify workplace risks and support hazard mitigation efforts.
  • Deliver health education and guidance on injury prevention and overall wellbeing.
  • Assist with workers' compensation cases and return-to-work programs.
  • Manage medical supplies, equipment, and documentation to support site health services.
  • Work a regular schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, while remaining available for on-call support outside of normal business hours as needed to respond to workplace health and emergency situations.

Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

Your Background

  • Active and unrestricted RN or LPN license with legal authorization to practice in the State of Mississippi.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in occupational health, industrial nursing, emergency room, urgent care, or related clinical settings.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certifications; additional certifications such as ACLS are beneficial.
  • Knowledge of occupational health, workplace safety regulations, and employee health programs.
  • Strong communication, assessment, documentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
