If you love making machines purr and people proud, you’ll fit right in.
At Sashco, we’re a family-owned manufacturer of high‑performance sealants and stains. We care deeply about people, obsess over quality, and sweat the details—because the little things make a big difference. We hire you not only to work but to create excellence. If you bring curiosity, craftsmanship, and a “do what’s right” mindset, come help us keep our production lines running at their best.

What you’ll do:
Keep it running (Advanced Preventive Maintenance)
- Perform comprehensive PMs on high‑shear mixers, pumps, chemical transfer systems, and automated packaging lines to prevent unplanned downtime.
- Execute precision tasks—e.g., rotor/stator replacement, wear inspections for abrasive materials.
- Use diagnostic tools to catch issues early (bearing wear, misalignment, sediment buildup).
Own the fix (Troubleshooting & Repairs)
- Independently diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems (motors, misalignments, sensors, valves)—including water‑based wood stain systems.
- Replace/refurbish critical components (mechanical seals, conveyor belts, pump impellers, electrical sensors) with the right chemical compatibility in mind (e.g., mineral spirits, alkyd resins).
- Partner with Quality to solve process issues like pigment dispersion or viscosity variations and verify specs.
Dial it in (Calibration & Controls)
- Calibrate mixer speeds (RPM), pressures, and alignments to hit precise tolerances for density, particle size, and stain viscosity.
- Adjust VFDs and PLC‑based settings to optimize performance and energy efficiency.
- Verify with tachometers, pressure gauges, viscometers, and similar tools.
Stock it smart (Spare Parts Management)
- Manage inventory of bearings, gaskets, filters, and electrical components in CMMS (e.g., Limble) for availability without overstocking.
- Forecast needs based on usage, wear, and schedules; coordinate on specialty parts (e.g., corrosion‑resistant seals).
- Keep parts organized and labeled; follow hazardous material storage requirements.
Be better together (Production Collaboration)
- Schedule work with production to align PMs with downtime and minimize disruption.
- Share insights to improve throughput and uptime; communicate plans clearly.
Grow others (Training & Mentorship)
- Coach Level 1 techs on fundamentals (lubrication, belt replacement, safety).
- Demonstrate diagnostic tools and reinforce LOTO best practices.
- Offer constructive feedback that builds skill and confidence.
Show your work (Documentation)
- Keep detailed repair logs, calibration data, and equipment performance metrics in CMMS or paper systems.
- Document root cause analyses and trends to strengthen preventive strategies.
What's in it for you?
- $2.27/Hr Cash benefits that add up to $5,637 annually
- $7,675 annual medical benefits
- 120 PTO Hours + 9 holidays which means $3,648 of paid time off
- $5.44/Hr additional benefits that add up to $11,323 annually
- Continual learning by attending training, seminars.

- Tools & Tech: Skilled with multimeters, alignment gauges, diagnostic software; able to read manuals, electrical schematics, pneumatic diagrams, and basic blueprints.
- Problem Solving: Analytical approach to complex issues and root causes.
- Time Management: Balance urgent repairs with PMs to protect uptime.
- Safety First, Always: Solid knowledge of OSHA/EPA compliance, LOTO, confined space, and safe handling of hazardous materials.
Nice to have
- CMMS experience (Limble preferred) for work orders, inventory, and reporting.
- Clear verbal and written communication with production/QC.
- Process awareness in caulk/sealants, coatings, paints, or wood stain formulation.
