Job Description

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Oversees the coordination of building space allocation and layout and facility expansions.
• Develops and implements a facility management program including preventative maintenance and life-cycle requirements.
• Conducts and documents regular facility inspections.
• Ensures compliance with health and safety standards and industry code.
• Obtains quotes from vendors and suppliers and negotiates contracts to optimize cost savings.
• Assures security of all facilities and responds to facility and equipment alarms and system failures.
• Performs highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
• Performs a variety of plumbing and maintenance functions.
• Detects faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situation to proper supervision.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Completion of a craft apprenticeship, or equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.

• 4+ years of manufacturing experience, strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills with some PLC experience and HVAC experience.

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Requirements:

• Eyesight correctable to 20/50.
• Able to work long hours standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout shift.
• Able to lift and climb ladders and scaffolds.
• Frequently be able to lift and/or move items over 60 lbs.

Special Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License.
• OSHA 10 Certificate.
