As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a critical role in keeping our corrugated manufacturing operation running safely and efficiently. You’ll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide variety of industrial equipment while partnering with production to minimize downtime and improve reliability. Your work directly impacts safety, production reliability, and customer satisfaction.

If you enjoy solving mechanical and electrical problems, working with industrial automation, and seeing the direct impact of your work every day, this is an opportunity to build your career in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Shift: 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM). Overtime and weekend work may be required based on business needs.

What You’ll Do

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability
  • Diagnose equipment failures and identify long-term corrective solutions
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, and mechanical drawings
  • Work with motors, conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, power transmission systems, PLC-controlled equipment, sensors, drives, and industrial controls
  • Repair and replace machine components using hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, welding equipment, and fabrication tools
  • Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects
  • Complete work orders and accurately document maintenance activities within the maintenance management system
  • Work closely with production teams to safely return equipment to service while minimizing downtime
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and required PPE

Who You Are

You enjoy troubleshooting and take pride in finding the root cause of equipment problems rather than simply replacing parts. You’re dependable, safety-minded, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with production and other maintenance team members.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two years of industrial maintenance experience or completion of a technical, vocational, apprenticeship, or military maintenance program
  • Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
  • Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment

What Will Set You Apart

  • Three or more years of industrial maintenance experience
  • Experience in corrugated packaging, paper, converting, printing, food manufacturing, automotive, steel, or other heavy industrial manufacturing environments
  • Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment, VFDs, servo systems, motors, conveyors, and industrial automation
  • Welding and metal fabrication experience
  • Industrial electrical troubleshooting experience

What to Expect on the Job

This is a hands-on role in a manufacturing facility where every day brings new challenges. You’ll spend most of your shift diagnosing equipment issues, performing preventive maintenance, and working alongside production to keep operations running safely and efficiently.
