Industrial Maintenance Electrician

Pay: $35–$40/hr

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

Job Type: Full Time Direct Hire

We are looking for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician to join an established manufacturing operation. This position will focus on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial electrical systems and production equipment, while also assisting with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance and troubleshooting on industrial production equipment
• Complete preventive maintenance and corrective repairs to keep equipment operating efficiently
• Diagnose electrical issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, meters, and diagnostic equipment
• Install, repair, and maintain industrial electrical equipment, machinery, and controls
• Troubleshoot PLCs, CNC equipment, servo drives, robotics, motor controls, transformers, and other industrial controls
• Install and troubleshoot electrical systems operating at 240V, 400V, and 480V
• Work with AC/DC circuits and low- and high-voltage electrical systems
• Identify equipment problems and make repairs or adjustments to prevent production downtime
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Replace, adjust, and calibrate electrical and control components
• Install and repair electrical wiring and conductors in accordance with NEC requirements
• Perform routine inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and other preventative maintenance activities
• Monitor equipment for wear, vibration, noise, alignment, and other potential issues
• Complete maintenance work orders and accurately document repairs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Work with maintenance teams, contractors, and production personnel to resolve equipment issues
• Cross-train in other technical areas as needed
• Work overtime and weekends when required

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
• Journeyman-level electrician experience
• Strong industrial electrical troubleshooting experience
• Experience with PLCs, CNCs, servo drives, and robotics
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
• Knowledge of NEC and electrical safety requirements
• Mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting experience
• High school diploma or equivalent plus specialized technical training
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work from ladders and aerial lifts
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment

Physical Requirements

This is a hands-on industrial maintenance position requiring extended periods of standing and walking, climbing ladders, reaching overhead, bending, crouching, kneeling, and working around production equipment.

The position requires the ability to regularly handle materials weighing 10–25 lbs. and occasionally lift or move heavier materials and equipment.
