
The Lead Industrial Electrician will undertake a variety of tasks relating to setting up and maintaining electrical infrastructure. This job involves installing electrical wiring in buildings and poles, troubleshooting malfunctions and blackouts, and repairing appliances.

QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
· 4+ years of relevant electrical experience.
· Experience in industrial and commercial electrical systems.
· Knowledge of the use of electrical and hand tools; e.g., wire strippers, voltmeters, etc.
· Demonstrated ability to understand electrical drawings and blueprints.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
· Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
· Knowledge of basic instrumentation and calibration.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
· Associate’s degree (two-year college or technical school) in Industrial Electrical Technology or similar field OR completion of recognized apprenticeship as an electrician OR equivalent work experience or vocational training.

· Must have the ability to frequently move materials/machinery up to 50 pounds and perform tasks that involve being low to the ground, reaching high and low, and moving around a construction area.and perform tasks that involve searching for items and remaining in a stationary position for long periods of time.
· Must be able to use small, hard-to-grip tools and manipulate hard-to-reach wires and other materials.
· Stress of traveling.
· Ability to ascend/descend ladders.
· Ability to understand work instructions.
· Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
· Must be able to distinguish different wires based on their colors.
· Able to perceive depth well and can identify and distinguish electrical materials at varying distances.
· Must be able to get into awkward positions and work in cramped spaces, such as crawl spaces under floors.
