Job Description

Make production smarter, more connected, and more reliable

At our Kwidzyn industrial site, you will play a key role in connecting machines, systems, and people.

Your work will directly impact how production runs every day — making it smoother, more efficient, and easier for operators on the shop floor.

This is a hands-on role at the crossroads of IT, automation, and manufacturing — where no two days are the same.

LACROIX is an international industrial group specialized in electronic equipment and connected technologies. We support our customers in building more sustainable and reliable environments, through smart industrial and IoT solutions.

Our Kwidzyn site is a key manufacturing hub, where digitalization and industrial performance go hand in hand.

Your mission

As Industrial IT Engineer, your goal is simple:

You will be part of a global Industrial IT ecosystem, while being deeply anchored in the reality of the shop floor.

What you will do :

Ensure production systems run smoothly

  • Maintain and improve machine-to-system interfaces (MES, SAP, equipment),
  • Troubleshoot technical issues affecting production flows,
  • Ensure data reliability and end-to-end traceability.

Support and empower operations teams

  • Work closely with production, maintenance, and engineering teams,
  • Provide hands-on support directly on the shop floor,
  • Train users and help simplify daily operations.

Develop and improve industrial IT solutions

  • Collect user needs and translate them into concrete improvements,
  • Contribute to the evolution of the MES (Sherpa) and connected systems,
  • Collaborate with system integrators, suppliers, and internal teams.

Lead and contribute to projects

  • Deploy new machines and integrate them into the ecosystem,
  • Contribute to innovation projects (automation, traceability, AMR, etc.),
  • Manage multiple topics in parallel in a complex industrial environment.

Why this role is unique

  • A central position connecting production, IT, engineering, and external partners,
  • A highly operational role with strong proximity to the shop floor,
  • A variety of technologies and equipment to work on,
  • A fast-moving environment with multiple ongoing projects,
  • An opportunity to be part of an international Industrial IT community.

Your environment

  • Based in Kwidzyn (Poland),
  • Daily collaboration with local teams (production, maintenance, engineering, quality),
  • Close interaction with Group Industrial IT teams and other sites,
  • Occasional travel within the group.

Qualifications

The profile we are looking for :

Must-have

  • Experience in an industrial environment (automation, maintenance, commissioning…),
  • Solid understanding of industrial IT (networks, protocols, databases),
  • Ability to understand machine behavior and system integration,
  • Basic programming knowledge (e.g. Java, C++, C#),
  • Strong communication skills — able to work across teams and explain technical topics clearly,
  • Fluent English,
  • Fluent Polish.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with MES systems,
  • Knowledge of electronics manufacturing (EMS environment is a plus),
  • Experience in industrial digitalization or connectivity projects.
