In this position...
Develop the BOBM Industrial Hygiene Programs to ensure compliance to regulatory requirements and Ford Motor Company Health and Safety Standards.
Develop and implement a comprehensive industrial hygiene risk and exposure assessments plan.
Manage projects performed by consultants to evaluate potential risks, including development of sampling plans, acceptance of proposals, scheduling of work, and oversight of project budgets
Partner with a 3rd party consultant to develop, implement and monitor the local Process Safety Management Program.
Interpret results of evaluations, report conclusions, and evaluate effectiveness of control measures from employee exposure assessments.
Interface with Ford Motor Company Corporate Safety, Industrial Hygiene and Toxicology teams
Develop, implement and monitor the local Toxicology process.
Candidates must possess full flexibility and a readiness to consistently work across all established standard, operating, and rotational shift schedules, encompassing day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts.

Undergraduate degree in Industrial Hygiene or Occupational Safety or related field.

3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong written and interpersonal communication skills required
Language Proficient in English
Understanding of industrial hygiene related risks, exposure monitoring techniques and hazard control methods relating to chemicals, noise, lasers, radiation, confined space, drinking water, respirator protection, heat stress, and knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements

This position is a salary grade 8 and ranges from $99,100-$166,200.
Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
