In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of innovation, shaping the future of Industrial Heat Pumps with cutting-edge solutions and technologies. Your deep expertise in heat pump systems and market insight will be the driving force behind transforming groundbreaking ideas into successful projects.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Conduct market investigations for industrial heat pump technologies mainly in (but not limited to) process and district heating applications
• In close collaboration with all DCS Sales teams engage with customers to understand challenges, needs, and future opportunities.
• Identify new applications, growth opportunities, and portfolio development areas across various technologies (HFO, HFC, HC, CO2, Ammonia). in collaboration with the Industrial Heat Pump Director.
• Lead co-creation, validation, and development of new applications and solutions.
• Support strategic customer projects and key accounts with advanced application expertise.
• Provide expert guidance on complex customer issues and high-impact field cases.
• Develop training materials, technical content, and application tools for commercial teams.
• Build internal networks of application champions and subject matter experts.
• Represent Danfoss with active participation at conferences, customer events, industry forums, and technical publications.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Public Affairs, and external stakeholders to shape future growth opportunities.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field engineering, with high level knowledge in Thermodynamics
• 8 to 10 years of experience in industrial heat pump or industrial refrigeration systems.
• Strong technical knowledge of Refrigeration/Heat sumps/HVAC systems.
• Openness to all refrigerant technologies (i.e., HFOs, HFCs, HCs, NH3, CO2).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proven ability to turn objectives into results.Organized, structured, resilient, proactive, and self-driven.
• Collaborative team player with proven success working across global matrix organizations and ability to manage complex projects and decision-making within a cross-functional setup and large stakeholder environment.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 40%, domestically and internationally.
• Fluent in Chinese and English is a must, any other language is a plus.
