THE WORK

• Manages the analysis and designing of sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and the establishment of methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel.
• Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
• Oversees Industrial Engineers conducting studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems.
• On the basis of these studies, monitors the development and implementation plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods.
• Assists in overseeing facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilities.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience working within an industrial engineer group within a production operations environment.
• Experience working to further develop synergies around talent development and succession planning
• Ability to improve customer support and delivery execution for labor reporting, shopload, manpower planning, leadtime reduction and productivity and process improvements across the Sikorsky business.
• Ability to oversee the Sikorsky IE teams in Connecticut, Alabama, Florida and Texas. The candidate will be based in Stratford, CT

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $178500.00 - $331500.00

• Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
