Meet your future team
You will lead the Industrial Engineering function at our production site in Skjern, managing a team of approximately 10 Industrial Engineers. The team plays a central role in supporting production, implementing new technologies, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Working closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and global industrial engineering and technology stakeholders, you and your team ensure that manufacturing processes are efficient, stable, and aligned with global standards. You will be part of the local management setup and collaborate across functions and locations to scale best practices and enable innovation.
What we offer
As Industrial Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for driving process improvements, implementing new technologies, and leading engineering projects that enhance performance and quality in the plant.
More specifically your tasks will be to:
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Industrial Engineers, ensuring strong performance and engagement
Drive implementation of new technologies and manufacturing processes in the plant
Ensure effective execution of product changes and engineering projects in close collaboration with stakeholders
Identify and realise improvement opportunities in cycle time, material consumption, waste reduction, and labour efficiency
Support production with technical expertise and problem-solving for process-related challenges
Ensure stable and capable manufacturing processes that meet quality requirements
Coordinate improvement initiatives and collaboration with global industrial engineering and technology functions
Contribute to global projects and drive implementation of best practices and standards locally
Lead layout optimization, value stream improvements, and flow efficiency initiatives
What you will bring
You are a strong and inspiring leader with a passion for industrial engineering and continuous improvement. You thrive in a production environment and enjoy working both strategically and hands-on with your team and stakeholders.
Moreover, we expect that you:
You hold an Engineering degree or a degree as Marine Engineer, with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes
Bring proven people management experience, with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of specialists
Have experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and structured problem-solving methodologies
Possess strong analytical and project management capabilities
Demonstrate a proactive and solution-oriented mindset with focus on continuous improvement
Have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Are fluent in English and Danish, and are able to operate in an international organisation
