Job Description

Your tasks:

  • Analyzes Customer specifications and plant capacity data to perform calculations, which determine most cost efficient manufacturing processes, equipment, and human resource requirements for new business acquisitions.
  • Plans the long-term capital investment strategy needed to support current and future projects.
  • Prepares and supplies the costs and timing associated for the capital equipment, tools, and resources required to meet the industrialization process determined.
  • Plans and implements the layout of the production cell for optimal material flow, logistics movements, and operator balancing.
  • Maintains the organization and development of equipment suppliers to ensure they are implementing equipment that meets the Brose norms and standard.
  • Abide by, incorporate, and improve standard forms and procedures for production planning.
  • Support Customer Milestones from the industrialization side including Design Review, Delivery Release, Commissioning, and any pre-production builds and capacity demonstration runs together with the manufacturing plant team.
  • Establish process flow, manufacturing layout, P-FMEA and assembly concept in cooperation with the manufacturing plant and central production planning.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • 7-12 years of experience.
  • Capital equipment planning and procurement experience.
