As a Senior Industrial Engineer, this position acts as a key strategic partner to the Factory Director, playing a critical role in shaping and driving the site’s future cost competitiveness. By establishing a strong link between business priorities and key initiatives, this role ensures effective execution of projects, challenges performance where needed, and drives committed delivery across all activities. The position also serves as the main interface between the site and the regional organization, coordinating efforts related to projects, CAB, COGS/productivity delivery, KPI performance, and overall activity management. A strong focus on data-driven decision-making is essential, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and integrity in site reporting and data management.
What are we looking for?
Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering, logisitics, Finance Degree
Formal training or certification in 6-sigma (Black Belt), or TPM, or Lean.
8+ years of Supply Chain experience in a manufacturing facility
Minimum 3 years as a production/ planning/ engineering manager
Experience of being part of the factory leadership team
Experience with facilitating and training various teams on continuous improvements.
Preparing and delivering presentations and recommendations to senior management
Strong business acumen built through cross functional team an factory assignments
Strong Financial understanding (P&L)
Engineering experience, running projects (CAB)
Knowledgeable in TPM practices including experience leading and implementing initiatives.
Effective communication, facilitation (including public speaking), organization, and analytical skills.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Co-Pilots site strategy development with Plant Director in line with regional strategy.
Development of the Business Operating Plan / Financial Shaping Reviews for the site in cooperation with S&F and the other functional departments;
Preparation of supporting analysis for the business development of the site and for execution of Capital investment Projects (e.g. through Capacity calculations, What-if scenarios or Value Stream Mapping);
Develops site strategy in line with Regional Strategy;
Manages site Capital Appropriations Budget(CAB).
Manage site small and minor CAB for operation plan, shaping and allocation;
Lead site CAB BIDS write up and approval of large minor/segment major/corporate major projects;
Govern site CAB spending in cooperation with site Technical Manager;
Develop site 3-year CAB pipeline in line with strategy;
Standardize site CAB management process and train up site small and minor BIDS owners;
Manages site Key Performance Indicators and target setting.
Development and management of local systems for business performance tracking; controlling and monitoring of factory performance KPIs in cooperation with S&F;
Factory KPIs analysis and preparation of improvement recommendations in interaction with Plant Team members;
Preparation of the required local and regional reporting;
Site governance for new product development(NPD).
Being Site spoke QuEST process, take over at ER gate as supply spoke;
Coordinate ICP development;
Ensure all site NPD execution as planned by supporting Site Activity Manager;
Site leader of COGS saving.
Build 3 years COGS pipeline in line with regional and site strategies;
Organize site annual COGS workshop (Prime/NQC/productivity) to generate project list;
Allocate site resource to implement COGS projects as planned;
MSE participation.
Being site FI pillar leader;
Accountable for FI pillar development in line with site strategy and associate capability development;
Develops ideal plant
Own site Master Plan development;
Drive site performance benchmark in line with regional and site strategies;
Develop site capacity planning database and lead site operation model optimization;
Ad Hoc Support (Business case, data analysis)
