Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talentedIndustrial Engineer I-IIIbased at our Berea, KYmanufacturing plant.

What you will do:

  • Support the design, setup, and improvement of material‑handling systems such as supermarkets, kitting areas, and milk‑run routes.

  • Maintain and update material‑flow data, includingbillof materials, engineering changes, and new product or process introductions.

  • Analyze material movement toidentifybottlenecks, improve flow, and enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.

  • Monitor impacts of manufacturing or process changes and adjust material‑flow strategies accordingly.

  • Collaborate with production, supply chain, engineering, and other teams to provide recommendations and support improvement initiatives.

  • Assistwith planning and scheduling systems to reduce queue times and support just‑in‑time delivery.

  • Support implementation and improvement of software, hardware, and equipment used for material‑flow activities.

  • Develop project plans, track progress, communicate updates, and help drive successful project execution.

Level II Additions:

  • Lead smaller‑scale implementations of supermarket design and milk‑run processes.

Level III Additions:

  • Lead major material‑flow improvement initiatives and drive alignment with broader operational strategies.

What you will need:

Level I:

  • Bachelor’s degreerequiredin Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, ora relatedfield.

  • Up to 2 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or industrial engineering.

  • Experience with material‑flow or material‑handling concepts preferred.

Level II:

  • Bachelor’s degreerequiredin Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, ora relatedfield.

  • 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or industrial engineering.

  • 2-3 years of experience inmaterialfloworinternallogisticsprocesses preferred.

Level III:

  • Bachelor’s degreerequiredin Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, ora relatedfield.

  • 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or industrial engineering.

  • 3-5 years of experience with advancedmaterialflowstrategies such as kitting, supermarket design, ormilkrunsystems.

Skills, Experience & Abilities

  • Knowledge of discrete manufacturing processes and material‑handling systems.

  • Ability to design, analyze, andoptimizematerial‑flow layouts andlogisticsmethods.

  • Familiarity with lean principles and continuous‑improvement methodologies.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to simplify complex process issues.

  • Experience developing innovative solutions to manufacturing challenges.

  • Strong project‑management skills and experience leading cross‑functional efforts.

  • Ability to support teams through process changes and new‑system adoption.
