At Greenheck Group, joining our team means more than just starting a job, it’s joining an award-winning culture prioritizing your growth and development. Our unwavering commitment in supporting our team members both personally and professionally has earned us national recognition time and time again. As an innovative, environmentally responsible manufacturer of commercial HVAC systems, Greenheck Group designs and manufactures industry-leading air movement and ventilation solutions through our family of trusted brands. Our products are found in commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities worldwide, from schools and hospitals to factories and stadiums. Since 1947, we’ve proudly invested in our people and our communities, fostering innovation, leadership, and opportunity at every level. We are more than products, we are a team of inspired people doing extraordinary things.

As an Industrial Engineer, you will enhance factory productivity, cost reduction, and product quality through analysis and continuous improvement of manufacturing routings, processes, equipment, material flow, and connected systems. Support manufacturing automation and machine integration by ensuring accurate information flow between SAP, manufacturing execution systems, and production equipment. Act as a critical link between Manufacturing, Engineering, Automation, and IT to implement solutions and monitor outcomes to ensure successful results.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Provide technical support to engineering and manufacturing personnel to improve workflow and troubleshoot manufacturing processes, equipment integration, and related applications.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of SAP Production Planning (PP) and Variant Configuration (VC) functionality to investigate missing or incorrect information at fabrication equipment and in assembly. Assist with manufactured and purchased material master data, bills of material, routings, and work center configuration.
  • Write, revise, and audit shop routings for new or redesigned products. Use conditional logic to establish maintainable master routings and support automated equipment requirements.
  • Maintain work center configuration and associated manufacturing system logic to allow order-specific information to flow accurately between SAP, manufacturing applications, and machines.
  • Support integration of automated equipment with manufacturing systems, including exchange of production orders, part attributes, machine programs, manufacturing parameters, recipes, and other execution data.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Automation, equipment vendors, and IT to define integration requirements, test interfaces, validate data, and support new or modified equipment implementations.
  • Troubleshoot machine communication, interface mapping, and production data issues; use root cause analysis and system data to implement sustainable corrective actions.
  • Monitor and improve automated production confirmations and equipment feedback, including quantities, cycle times, processing status, and labor credit where applicable.
  • Analyze manufacturing and machine-generated data to identify inefficiencies, improve throughput and equipment utilization, and support production reporting and continuous improvement.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining SQL queries, manufacturing reporting tools, system interface documentation, data mappings, and standard work procedures.
  • Conduct time studies or analyze system data to establish or validate labor standards as required. Prepare labor and material cost estimates and support capacity projections when needed.
  • Participate in product redesign, value engineering, GPS events, and cross-functional process improvement efforts to assure cost-effective and producible designs.
  • Gather, document, and implement manufacturing business process improvement requirements; audit established processes and share best practices for system integration and reporting.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • 0-2 years of relevant work experience in engineering required.
  • 4 Year / Bachelor Degree in engineering or years of equivalent experience required.
