Compensation: $28.21 to $32.70/Hr, based on experience

Job Overview

The Industrial Electromechanical Technician I supports safe and reliable plant operations by performing routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on manufacturing and production equipment. This is a hands-on industrial maintenance position working directly on mechanical, electrical, and automated systems in a plant environment. The role focuses on developing electro-mechanical maintenance skills while working under regular guidance.

What You Will Do

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and automation plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment, electrical, or automation issues and escalate complex problems as needed.
• Assist with basic modifications or adjustments to automated or computer‑controlled systems under guidance.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic equipment to complete assigned maintenance tasks.
• Read and follow electrical and mechanical schematics, manuals, and work instructions.
• Document completed work, findings, and corrective actions in maintenance computer systems.
• Work flexible schedules including overtime, weekends, holidays, or rotating shifts with advance notice.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Will Need

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Understand and communicate efficiently in English (verbal/written).
• Foundational experience or training in mechanical, electrical, electro‑mechanical, or maintenance‑related work.
• Ability to work indoors/outdoors environments (heat, cold, dust, and noise) while performing physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing, bending, twisting, and working at heights (4 feet and above), with or without reasonable accommodation.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Basic exposure to PLCs, automated systems, sensors, or control panels.
• Familiarity with maintenance systems for documenting work or tracking repairs.
• Experience working around production, packaging, or industrial equipment.
• Technical training, trade school coursework, or related military experience.
