About the role:

The ideal candidate will have leadership experience in a production environment, managing electrical maintenance and breakdowns to keep machinery running safely and efficiently. They will lead a small maintenance team and bring strong skills in both mechanical and electrical preventative maintenance, automation, and electrical controls.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Perform fault finding and preventative maintenance duties on various machines and plant equipment.
  • Provide technical support and assistance for the shift, attend to mechanical and electrical breakdowns and the ability to fault find by using PLCs,
  • Complete preventative maintenance tasks and develop/review/plan tasks to maintain all equipment to a high standard.
  • Maintain spares list and order parts when required.
  • Team work and leadership is a critical aspect of this role

Requirements

  • Standard hours: Rotating shift: 5.30am - 2.00pm and 2.00pm - 11.30pm
  • NSW electrical license
  • Trade Qualifications
  • Be self-motivated and reliable with a positive attitude.
  • Able to adapt to changing production demands.
  • Understanding of Safety systems and processes, including Risk Assessments, incident reporting and planned inspections.
  • Proven experience in PLC fault finding, Variable speed drives and circuitry.
  • Ability to work in a team environment or autonomously.
  • Willing to work a reasonable amount of overtime.
