UCT is looking for a talented Electrician (Technician IV) to join us in Israel!

The Technician IV supports manufacturing reliability and efficiency by executing preventive and corrective maintenance across plant equipment and facilities. This role performs advanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, monitors equipment performance, and intervenes to prevent downtime. By maintaining accurate records in the maintenance management system, collaborating with cross‑functional teams and equipment suppliers, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives, the Technician IV helps ensure safe, reliable operations and sustained equipment performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Carry out the execution of the planned preventive maintenance and unplanned work as it arises.
• Providing maintenance support, entering data, updating equipment records, produce performance reports and participating in continuous improvement projects.
• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Closely monitor lines and machine performances and intervene as soon as any deterioration in performance occurs.
• Work closely with other teams and functions to improve reliability and performance.
• As part of the technical Maintenance team, work with equipment suppliers on new equipment and installations and modifications.
• Update the maintenance management system (Limble), records of all changes, store transactions made, and work carried out.
• Maintain the plant facilities and services, including compressed air, water treatment and chemical treatment systems and air scrubber system.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Previous experience in manufacturing is essential preferably in semiconductor, medical or pharma industries.
• Strong mechanical background.
• Some electrical background is an advantage but not essential.
• Trades/Diploma qualifications required with min 5 years' experience.
• Good team player and self-motivated with ability to work on own project while supporting all other departments.
• Ability to read schematic drawings.
• Available for call out duties and / or overtime when required.
• Electrical License.
• Knowledge in hydraulics, pneumatics, Advantage.
• Ability to read electrical drawings.
• Independent learning ability, willingness to work overtime.
• 2 years of industry experience.
• Ability to work under stressful conditions and challenging schedules.

Environmental Exposure

• Required to wear personal protective equipment.
• Subject to hazards including electrical current, moving mechanical parts, exposure to chemicals, and debris.
• Required to have visual acuity to perform assigned tasks.

Education & Experience

• Electrical license
• Practical Engineer / Mechanical Technician-Advantage
