$44.50/hour
($1.00/hour deduction during probationary period – 900 hours worked)
• $0.65/hour extra for night shift
• $0.50/hour extra for afternoon shift
Rotating shifts (Days / Afternoons / Midnights) as per production schedule as follows:
• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Night Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Hours determined based on operational needs and seniority under the Collective Agreement
• Troubleshoot and repair extrusion and industrial production equipment
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Work with Allen-Bradley PLCs (PLC5 / ControlLogix) to troubleshoot, modify, and support programs
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve recurring equipment issues
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with maintenance team members
• Certified Industrial Electrician License (442A or 309A)
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial automation or manufacturing environment
• Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written)
• Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs (PLC5 / ControlLogix)
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
• Experience with AC/DC motors, VFDs, and industrial troubleshooting• Familiarity with CMMS systems and industrial maintenance processes
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Physically capable to lift a minimum weight of 50 lbs
