We are looking for a skilled and safety‑focused Electrician to join our Maintenance team at our production facility in Mississauga, ON.
In this role, you will support safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations by diagnosing and resolving electrical issues quickly, improving equipment performance, and helping reduce downtime. You will work closely with colleagues across the plant and contribute to a culture where teamwork, continuous improvement, and safety come first.
This is an expert, hands‑on role and ideal for someone who enjoys technical problem‑solving, collaborating with others, and finding smarter, safer ways to keep equipment performing at its best.
Contract Type Permanent Full-Time

Location 2441 Royal Windsor Dr, Mississauga, ON L5J 4C7 ( view on google maps)
Work Schedule Mon – Fri, 11:00am – 7:00pm + Bi‑weekly weekend and after‑hours on‑call rotation
The incumbent spends 100% of their time in the plant and blending environment, performing physically demanding tasks such as lifting, pulling, and pushing heavy objects (10–75 lbs.), with standing and walking making up most of the workload. The role also requires working at heights, including climbing silos, adding an additional physical and safety consideration. Personal safety is impacted by exposure to heat, dust, and high noise levels, as well as the operation of certain equipment. The role demands moderate sensory focus, and limited control over work pace, along with unpredictable workflow, contributes to the overall stress of the position.

Honesty, fairness, integrity, the golden rule: a customer-first culture. Customers want it- even demand it. And it’s so easy to promise.
This is ‘distance race’ thinking, and building a business on it is harder than you might think. It requires you to sacrifice many short-term opportunities for gain. It means spending whatever time it takes to help a client solve a problem on deadline. It means resisting the urge to cut corners on materials that, once in place, no one will ever see.
It means innovation: going beyond what your customers want or expect, and working restlessly to create new products and ideas to fill unmet needs. It means keeping your word, even when it’s inconvenient, and honouring relationships over transactions, even when it costs. And it means building a team with people who believe it, live it, and stand by it.
At IPEX we’ve long-since made a decision to embrace this long-term thinking, not just when it’s easy, but every day, in everything we do, for every customer and every employee. We don’t do it because we’re nice people, though we like to think we are. We do it because it’s good business, and that the reputation we’ve built over time, job by job, one customer at a time, pays the best dividends.
